SCAN Training
LSI presents several programs, on a basic and advanced level, teaching the SCAN technique for obtaining information and detection of deception by analysis of statements.
Special note concerning tuition: All fees are in US dollars. For courses in Canada,
and online courses where the student is located in Canada, please add 5% GST.

The LSI Basic Course on SCAN
This course presents the theory and concepts of the SCAN technique. The students learn the basic rules of SCAN, and the ways that various linguistic signals are observed in statements.
Each student receives a 230-page workbook, plus an additional take-home CD-ROM of SCAN information and case studies (consisting of the LSI SCAN Newsletter Anthology, the VIEW Guidebook, and the SCAN Workshop Guidebook, previously sold separately).
The tuition fee is $600 per student (or, for groups of two or more students, a group rate of $450 per student).
The LSI HQ Basic
This is the LSI Basic Course on SCAN, presented by Avinoam Sapir at LSI headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. Class size is limited to 10 participants. The tuition fee for the LSI HQ Basic is $600 per student. Due to the limited class size and increased personal attention received by each student, no group rates will be offered. To guarantee a place in the LSI HQ Basic course, tuition must be paid in advance. No refunds will be issued after the deadline, which is two months before the date of the class.
The LSI Advanced Workshop on SCAN
This two-day workshop (open only to students who have attended the LSI Basic Course on SCAN) provides the student with practical experience in applying the SCAN technique to various types of cases. The workshop emphasizes the most relevant points to analyze in each type of case. The tuition fee is $375 per student.
Special note for advanced workshops held at LSI headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona: class size is limited to 10 participants, and tuition must be paid in advance in order to guarantee a place. No refunds will be issued after the deadline, which is two months before the date of the class.
The LSI Advanced
Continuing Education Workshop
(LSI SCAN ACE)
This 5-hour session, conducted
online in real time, provides hands-on SCAN practice under
the personal guidance of Avinoam Sapir, developer of the SCAN technique.
The workshop assists the student in further perfecting his/her mastery of
the SCAN technique, including use of the computer in analyzing statements.
Students will receive a certificate after completing 4, 8, and 12
sessions. The student can participate
from any convenient location via his/her own computer.
Dedicated groups can be scheduled, by
appointment. The workshop is open only to students who have attended the
basic LSI Course on SCAN.
The tuition
fee for the LSI SCAN Advanced Continuing Education Workshop is $50 per
student (special introductory rate) for regularly scheduled sessions.
Students who register for 3 sessions will receive a 4th session
at no charge (i.e. $150 for 4 sessions); and students who register for 8
sessions will receive 4 free sessions (i.e. $400 for 12 sessions).
LSI - AOC - the Art of Confession
LSI is pleased to offer a new two-day course on "the Art of Confession". The LSI SCAN-AOC course continues the SCAN process, and shows the investigator how to use the subject's own words to get more information than the subject initially intended.
The SCAN-AOC course will teach the investigator how to logically show the subject that his/her own words cannot stand on their own. The investigator will learn how to get the subject to confess with dignity, preserving the subject's integrity.
The tuition fee for the SCAN-AOC course is $375 per student.

| A specially discounted tuition fee is available for those who would like to expand and deepen their knowledge of SCAN by attending several courses. If a student registers in advance for the basic course plus advanced workshop, the total tuition fee for the two courses will be $800 (with the regular LSI Basic) or $900 (with the LSI HQ Basic). |

| For the advanced course, the student can choose (either at the time of registration, or at a later date) any date and location from our list of dates, within two years of the basic course that he/she attended. During those two years, the student who has registered via the LSI Super Pack will be able to purchase LSI products, at any time, at the special at-course discount rate. Please see our products flyer and price list for details about the products. |

| Payment of tuition for all courses in the package must be made at the time of registration for the package. Payment for products must be made when ordering the products. If paying by purchase order, payment for all courses in the package must be received by LSI within 30 days of the basic course attended, and payment for products must be received by LSI within 30 days of shipment. |
